My previous watch was a sturdy, made in India, Titan quartz watch.
I replaced it simply because I got bored of it.
I have loved Casio watches because they simply never stop working.
The DBE30-1AV is a very good watch for the price. This is the kind of watch for the people
who are obsessed with ultra-efficiency. The watch switches itself off to save power
when kept motionless in dark. When you pick it up and wear it, it switches on automatically
without having to press any buttons.
It is Solar, so you will never have to replace batteries. It has a backup battery which
runs for 6 months. The backup battery will be used only when you dont see the sunlight for
a few days.
This watch has all the features (stop watch, databank, night light, international time and so on)
that you might normally need. You will not need any more features unless you plan to climb the
Everest (Some watches have a thermometer, pressure guage, altimeter and even a
tv remote control...really!)
This watch looks good and is quite tough. When solar watches first came into the market,
they were very fragile and quite inefficient. Not so any more.
The technology has vastly improved.
This watch is Made in China. In earlier days Casio watches were Made in Japan.
I found this watch to be of the same quality.
The only thing that I do not like about Casio watches is that the strap breaks after a
period of time.

Its a fancy watch. The calculator works good, and the remote buttons works great. It's fun having this watch. I'd recommend it to friends. It works on the converter box or cable. The instructions were in very small print, but readable, and programming the watch was easy. I like having this watch, and I'm glad I bought it.
