The battery is easy to replace at any watch shop, but you might be better off just buying a new watch for the same price as the battery replacement! I love this watch for 2 reasons- the frugality and the "old-school-retro" thing. If that's not your thing, oh well...

Casio Men's Ana-Digi Sport Watch #HDC600-1BV Review

Nice-looking casual watch that works as advertised.It may be one of the most full-featured watches you can buy that offers an analog display:luminous dial and hands, 3 separate alarms (one with a 5-minute snooze), stopwatch, countdown timer, world times, daylight savings time, 100m water resist, and 30 page databank suitable for storing names and phone numbers.I found that Casio has made all the functions very intuitive to use.Now that I've read the instruction manual once, I doubt I'll ever need to refer to it again.

I love the luminous analog display for checking the time in the middle of the night.Before bed, I expose the dial to a bright light source (like a lamp) for 15 sec., and then it's good to go all night.No buttons to fumble with in the dark when you're half asleep.

I only have a few minor nits with the watch.

1. It beeps every time you change modes (e.g. from timekeeping to alarm to stopwatch to etc.), and there's no way to silence it.

2. The world time function lists only cities.Casio should have included the world-standard Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) as a reference.(London's not on GMT in the summer, so you can't always go by that.)

3. If you have small wrists like I do, the fit is less than ideal due to the watch face's large size and the stiffness of the plastic bands.It is a tad difficult for me to adjust the band tight enough.For me this is mostly an issue with the look and not the comfort.

Overall, for $29, this is a tremendous value for the money, and I plan for this to be my main watch for many years to come.

Baby - G Women's Jelly Series watch #BG1001-1V Review

This watch was given to my younger daughter ( 29 yoa ) for the Holidays of 2009.
She wears it everyday, impressed by the myriad of features that it boasts. Her
primary concern was with its timekeeping ability, ruggedness, style, and visibility
in low light ( darkness ). On a scale of 1 - 10, it scores a 'ten' in every cata-
gory. As usual, Casio has another winner on their hands.

Casio Men's Waveceptor Atomic Watch #VQ201HDA-4BV Review

The IB is a little kryptic and does not cover band adjust, but removing links was not difficult.It is only necessary to make a punch (I used a paper clip) to drive the cotter key like pins out. Most bureau of standards automatically adjusted watches cost several times as much and have no better features.

Casio Men's Leather Strap watch #MTP-1094Q-9B Review

This was a nine dollar watch.The seller apparently set the watch to operate on EST, but goofed.When I pulled out the stem to adjust the time, the watch stem fell off.I worked with it for about 30 minutes, but there was no way to re-attache the stem.Too bad.The watch itself is nice looking and keeps accurate time in minutes, but always shows the incorrect hour.The watch wasn't worth the time and effort to return.
